Dr. Margaret Rado, O.D. grew up in Michigan and attended the University of Michigan and Michigan State for her undergraduate studies. She received her doctor of optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1994. She practices primary care optometry which includes doing annual routine exams, medical examinations for patients with cataracts, macular degeneration, glaucoma and systemic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension.

She sees patients for treatment of acute and chronic eye infections, eye injuries as well as dry eye management and fitting a variety of different types of contact lenses. Dr. Rado is also able to evaluate children and adults with binocular vision concerns that may be affecting their school or work performance. She also does consultations and perioperative care for Lasik.

Dr. Rado finds pleasure in talking with and getting to know her patients and takes time to listen to their concerns so that she can address them after doing a thorough eye examination. She really enjoys her job and it shows in the compassion and care that she provides her patients.

Dr. Rado moved from Louisville, CO to Fort Collins in 2002. She has been with Colorado Vision Center since 2009. When she’s not working, she loves doing yoga, cycling, cooking, traveling and spending time with her husband and their two children.
